  • Pizza Party
  • Cards

  • Bingo  (The bingo prizes are canteen books so that the winners can buy what they want from the canteen.)
  • Visiting
  • Etc.
We bring magazines for the veterans to read and have brought plants to spruce up the unit.  We also bring snacks.  We have a volunteer who brings the soda every week.

Our goal is just to "hang out", to show we care, to listen to stories if the veterans wish to share their stories.  Each week is different.  The veterans on the unit are there for a short while so we meet many new people.  We have no set agenda.  The number of Veterans on the unit range from 12 to 22.

Benefactors:

We can do our activities thanks to the donations of our American Legion Post and Unit 18 and the private generosity of people who visit.  A VFW Post is also helping us.

We feel we receive much more than what we give to our Veterans who have served us so well.

Contact Info:

Pending.
