This is the last newsletter for this Legion Year. So please
read.
Fathers Day, Sunday June 20th, is King Day at the Veterans Home in
King, Wisconsin. We have a large group of Post, Unit, SALs and Juniors going.
We will meet at Zebb's restaurant parking lot, South 27th & Morgan, and leaving at
6am, June 20th.
Our Milwaukee American Legion Family picnic will be Sunday, August 1st,
in Wilson Park area #1, on South 13th Street & West Howard Avenue. Further information
is on the RSVP enclosed in the June newsletter.
PLEASE NOTE: This year there will be a charge of $1 per adult (18 years and
older).
July 15-16-17-18, 2010, is the Wisconsin Department Convention in
Wausau, WI.
The American Legion National Convention this year is in Milwaukee,
August 25th thru September 2nd. The big convention parade will be on Sunday, August 29th,
in downtown Milwaukee.
August 28th is Fishing with the Vets at Wind Lake.
We always need help with our Post & Unit 18 bingos.
